17U Selects in the NSSBL

The NSSBL is pleased to announce the involvement of the 17U Selects in our 2021 regular season schedule. This is not simply a barnstorming tour, games played against the 17U Selects count toward determining our 2021 regular season standings. Each NSSBL team will play two games against the 17U Selects - see "schedule" for game dates. The NSSBL views the inclusion the 17U Selects as a mutually beneficial means of promoting baseball in Nova Scotia, while showcasing the existing, high quality baseball talent in our province. It should be noted, Nova Scotia's 17U Selects remain defending national champions. The 2019 edition of the team defeated Quebec and Ontario on the final day of competition to win Nova Scotia's first Canada Cup. It's worth a trip to the ballpark to see national-championship-calibre-baseball.
