Dartmouth Retires West's #14
The NSSBL would like to congratulate Greg West on having his #14 retired by the Dartmouth Moosehead Dry - a well deserved honor. West, a long-time member of the Dry, is held in high regard as both a timely performer and a respected teammate. A consistent top talent throughout the regular season, West was known to raise-his-game even higher during NSSBL playoffs and National showdowns - "a perfect combination of class and clutch." Pictured below, left-to-right, are Chris Head, Dan Comeau, Greg West, and Jeff Reeves during West's ceremony at Beazley Field (08.15.21).

Wright Wins Susan McEachern Award

The Susan McEachern Award is given each year to a volunteer that has made exceptional contributions to the Nova Scotia Senior Baseball League community. This year's winner is Cecil Wright. Although he needs no introduction to fans of the Nova Scotia sporting scene, the NSSBL is pleased to single-out Cecil for his years of service with Halifax baseball and the NSSBL. Pictured below are, left to right, Aaron Ferguson, Cecil Wright, Jim McEachern, and Ken Long during Sunday's ceremony.
